For over twenty years Erin “Topaz” Lareau has been involved professionally in all aspects of costume design for various forms of entertainment media.

She won a 2006 Emmy for Outstanding Costume Design for Music or Variety Special. Recent works include costume design on the KATY PERRY CALIFORNIA DREAMS 2011 tour, MICHAEL JACKSON'S THIS IS IT Tour/Film, SCREAM AWARDS ’07-’10, DIVAS LIVE, HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL CONCERT TOUR & ICE TOUR. She has worked with renowned directors Kenny Ortega and Christopher Guest, and the directors of Little Miss Sunshine.

Topaz has styled more than 400 commercials, with precise characterization, collaboration and versatility. For the last ten years, Topaz has designed for director Christopher Guest’s commercials. Some of her work presently airing includes DIRECTV, Healthy Choice, and “What Happens in Vegas...”

Topaz spent three years at The Tonight Show with Jay Leno and was the costume designer on Blossom, Grounded for Life, several pilots, series and reality shows. She also designed for Chippendales back in the day, has created spectacular pre-Olympic shows for Nike, and stunning special events at E3 and in Las Vegas for HP and Intel.
